Project Finance Manager
Together with our team you will participate in the budget planning and financial analysis of high-quality nature-based carbon projects
Your tasks
- Participate in the acquisition process of nature-based climate projects and analyze the viability of incoming early-stage projects.
- Take part in the deal structuring process and produce scenarios to define the best terms for each involved party. Build decision-making tools and recommendations to the leadership team
- Review and build project budgets
- Build and lead relationships with external partners interested in financially supporting our pipeline projects
- Contribute to strengthening and streamlining the processes and workflows of the team
- Support the leadership team in ad hoc strategic modelling exercises, in strong collaboration with the Finance Department and operational teams.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in business administration or finance
- At least 2 years of professional experience in investment analysis or portfolio management, ideally working for Impact Investor(s)
- Strong knowledge of the Voluntary Carbon Markets and the nature of climate projects
- Ability to adapt, multi-task and thrive in a fast-growing organizational structure
- Proactivity and ability to bring new ideas and suggestions to the table
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Independent, structured, and detail-oriented work approach
- Fluent in English, professional proficiency in Spanish and/or German is a plus
