Expert in Carbon Methodology Development
Together with our team you will develop carbon certification methodologies in the field of agricultural (including agroforestry), forest management and peatlands for an international expert group.
Your tasks
- Elaboration of technical scoping papers as a preparation for the development of certification methodologies
- Development of certification methodologies in the fields of agricultural land management, forest management and peatland restoration
- Management of working group sessions with international experts
- Preparation, implementation and evaluation of public consultations
- Conduction of expert interviews, preparation of surveys and independent desk research
- Reporting and documentation
Your profile
- Knowledge about the environmental and climate impacts of land use (agriculture, forestry, peatlands) activities
- Expert knowledge about the voluntary and regulatory carbon market
- Proven experience in carbon farming methodology development
- Relevant higher education degree
- Minimum 4 years of specific professional experience
- Fluency in English (Minimum C1 level)
- Experience with working in an international multi-stakeholder environment
- Independent work style and very good communication skills
